Your page is probably cached
Browsers tend to cache pages for faster loading. Therefore, changes to your page doesn’t usually happen instantly, and your browser keeps showing you an older version of your website.
To see a live version of your website, you can clear your browser cache or use a private browser window to visit your website.
You have changed your theme
The announcement bars you create are inserted into your current theme only. If you decide to change your theme, announcement bars created before won’t show up on your new theme.
To copy your bars to the new theme, all you need to do is to pause then resume your bars using the app’s dashboard while your new theme is active (published)
You have a missing </head> tag
If you have accidentally removed the “</head>” tag from your theme, your announcement bar might not show up.
Please go into your “theme.liquid” file and ensure you have “</head>” tag.

On some themes, the site’s header and the announcement bar might overlap. In such cases you would see the site’s header covering the bar or the other way around.
Showing your announcement bar on specific subdomain(s) is pretty easy.
In your announcement bar settings, under targeting settings, you would find the “Subdomain targeting” section. Choose “Display on specific subdomains” and enter the subdomain part in the next field as shown below.
* Please not that you need to enter the subdomain part only. For example, if you want the bar to only appear on offers.mystore.com, enter “offers” (without quotes) in the subdomain field. You can add as many subdomains as you wish to the same bar.
If you’d like to hide your bar but keep its configuration for future use, you can simply pause it.
Navigate to the app’s dashboard, find your active bar and click the pause button as in the picture below. That should prevent the bar from showing up on your store but won’t delete it from the app.
